In a stroke of genius, my mom played match maker to her nephew and the daughter of one of her dearest friends, thus making a legal familial bond between our two families. Here is me and my kids with Elaine (the afore mentioned daughter) and her kids (which makes them cousins twice removed or some such awkward title). Elaine is in town for a couple of months which equals FUN! We brought the kids to the fire station.
